Which Mesa is best with a Telecaster?

no. even the exact same preamp isn't going to sound the same run through an el84 power amp when compared to a 6l6 power amp. there's more of a difference than merely wattage.

I'm not a Tele player (although one is in my future ) . I can say that one of the best sounds I ever heard was my band's old lead guitarist playing his G&L ASAT Classis through his LSC 2x12. Wow...I love it when other players make me smile, and that tone he had was the shiz!
