Modded , don't work right .

I asked him about it today , and was escorted to the " amp pile " ..
Dark , amber glinting from the pilot light ... I saw the skinny foil traces on the preamp board ... Oh well ...

It's a mark II-b 109xx 60/100 Say's he is going to fix it himself .
EvM12l in cab no reverb Geq (GH) on side ...
Chassis removed from the combo cabinet ...6L6 425's busted from crap piled on top ....!!!!! Tolex good .

Need's work . Suggestion's for top dollar offer . This guy is something .

It sounds like you should just forget that you ever saw it. Your guy sounds like one of those "my **** is the best because it's MINE" types of people. I get it, you own a music store, but a $500 amp is STILL ONLY WORTH $500. If he thinks that that amp is worth $2k NOW, just wait until he spends an hour fixing it.

It just might be the worlds first $10k Boogie.

I had similar situation with my mark iia. Guy wanted top dollar for 8 mths or more on craigs. I finally got him to sell for $500. Then i had to dump another $400 into it. But worth every
penny. I love that amp. Loud, clean and classic rock. Its gonna be hard to get him from $2k to the correct price of $500-$700
