Looking for something really transparent. What have you guys been using?
I have the G system, but it having a mono in and stereo out instead of a stereo in is bugging me.. and im not sure it will work with my setup..
Aslo how are you guys seting up your processor.. Do you guys use a Mixer? In which case id be stuck with a parallel setup, unless the GCX helps me change from to the mixer, to without the mixer..(also i guess in that case it should have a drykill switch per preset instead of global :s ?? As well as routing options-in the processor- per preset)
I have been looking at the Gmajor 2 and emailed Tc electronic.. They said it has great converters and rivals the Gforce.. (if not sounds better!) i am just not sure wether to beleive that or not
Also have any of you guys been using the petrucci method (2290) of dry signal on one side, and only wet signal with 7ms delay on the other, with any effects processor with good results? I have never tried that and wonder if it really is a huge sounding method..
But then again i guess in that case you use a seperate processor for that?
=> in between the transparent processor that wouldnt defeat the purpose of owning a mark, using it with a mixer but loosing features that work best in series (unless you can switch it), and the last method described above etc im a bit lost as to how to design my rig properly, and which processor to get (unless the Gsystem, would do :? _
What do you guys think???
