Wet and dry rig with Studio Pre and 1101?

My signal goes out of the SP recording outs into the Digitech 1101. From the 1101, it goes straight into the power amp. I find this works better than putting the 1101 in the loop. So right now, I've got the SP channel A going into the 1101, going into channel A of my 295 power amp, into a 1X12.

I'm thinking of purchasing another cab and running a dry signal into that cab. Has anybody tried this with an 1101 or similar digital processor? Do you forsee any latency issues? I can't imagine there would be any latency running it like this. Any other issues that I am not aware of?
