I found a couple EC3883 which I think are AX equivalent. I like the one I tried very much. Last time it said anything before this was in '83...out of a Grundig. Jim Morrison was singing.
I found that I couldn't give the radio away, so I opened it before trashing it. Big surprise. 4 of the 6 or 7 tubes were amp friendly.
