WAH position

I want a strong wah sound like petrucci has.
I use my wah(crybaby from hell) after my guitar and directly to my triaxis in.
I was wondering if someone already used it in the fx loop of the triaxis ?
When you put wah right after your guitar you simply apply wahs to a clean guitar and when you put it in the loop,you are applying wahs to a distorted guitar,maybe it delieveries a strongest wah sound !

Wah pedals generally sound their best when they are placed pre-distortion in the signal chain. When they're placed post distortion, they just sound like lo-fi filters which in some cases is the desired result.

I've tried placing wahs both pre and post distortion and except for special effects (as described before) I always like them better pre distortion. The wah effect definitely sounds more prominent to me this way.
