anyone else own one of these board-less wonders?
I bought myself an 18 watt 2-10 Gretsch 6161T on eBay for 450 dollars (what a tremolo!)

Tried one in the store. Cool amps for vintage lo-fi sounds at low volume.

actually they have reputation that you turn them all the way up for good overdrive

Hendrix and Page used them before they crossed over to Marshall amps

Right. "lo-fi" = overdrive. "turned up" = low volume (by modern standards at least).

just traded it in for a peavey XXX

the Gretsch had a clean sound this doesn't have, but I need to play Metal!!!
someday I'm gonna get it back? maybe!

on the other hand, I heard a Real Guitarist play thru it and I hope he gets it!
