Using Pod Xt Pro to switch channels on Mark V

What do I need in order to use my Pod Xt Pro as a midi controller to switch between channels and effects presets? I'm new to Mesa and Midi.. I just got my Mark V a few days ago so I'm in the crawl phase right now.

I would suggest a mini amp gizmo. Prepare to fork out more $$

Lol tell me about it.. I looked into that.. I'm having a humming issue tho with the pod set up with the 4 cable method.. I'm thinking it's just a ground issue.. If I can't solve that issue, I may look into another mfx processor.. Or maybe Ground Control.. But yet again more $$$ :?

Get the l6 m9 set it to true bypass mode and get the mini amp gizmo its a killer channel selector compact and simple and you can get the effects when needed from the m9 or have it in true bypass.
