Ok....time to go Seal Team 6 on the V1 &V2 cathode resistors.....this thing's gunna slay.

ok never mind......the resistors hooked to pin 3 are 1k and 100 ohm......not 100k. the 1k is in parallel with a cap in series with a 100 ohm. don't know if this mod actually applies with a 3ch recto now.

I believe he's talking about the 20p cap from V2-Pin2 to GND.

I would change all of the 1u Cathode bypass caps from the Tantalum to Orange Drop/Mallory 150M Film caps. The stock ones are a bit metallic/tinny sounding. You can also change the value to .68u or .47 u to get more mid/high-mid out of it.

Just saw that this is an older thread, but to the OP.. Make sure and have them carbon burn spots cleaned off the pc board of ur amp cause it could catch fire if the burn spots aren't cleaned off.
