Hey all, picked up a used triaxis, and after 20 minutes the volume and gain drops out. Tried going through the tubes one at a time and didn't really help. Possible its a multiple tube failure? Not using a power amp so its not that. Mostly noticeable on LD2 and Clean channels. Sounds like many before have had this problem, can anyone chime in on what it was for them? Should I just return the unit to Guitar Center or an easy fix? Thanks a ton, Ari

Hey, did you finally manage to fix the issue ?

I have a similair problem with the gain dropping all of a sudden, but to me it only happens after rehearsing for something like 2 hours using only the LD2 red and LD2 yellow circuits. Changing modes etc doesn't change things. Turning the unit off and waiting an hour (playing the backup head), things worked again.

I swapped all the tubes the week after and even though the amp sounded more lively, after 2 hours the gain was gone again.

Ironically, looking around on google for this problem I found a picture of a TX4 board which seems like it's the one I currently own (exactly the same red & black writing on it, same components missing/installed, same grit on the upper ribbon connector on the left, exactly the same decay near the W-TH 'H T V' component on the right). The grit near the left connector and the 'slanted' H T V don't look good, but TX4 afaik is not used for LD2 modes.

I'm not even anywhere near .hu so god knows where my unit has been.
