Triaxis Trivia: LD2 Red Channel = Mark ?

In my old manual (I have version 2.0 software serial T4801), it says that the Lead 2 Red channel is based on a Mark III. When I called MB, the salesman said Mark III, but the new manual says "Lead 2 - Red = Modified Mark IV Searing Lead". http://www.mesaboogie.com/catalog/acrobats/Triaxiss-04-34-35.pdf
Does anyone know for sure it III or IV :?:

The Mesa rep told me they tweaked it slightly for the new models (announced at '05 NAMM), so it wouldn't surprise me that it is referenced as a MkIV now.
