Tremoverb Oscillation / Motorboating

My tremoverb oscillates the speakers terribly in clean mode with the Solid state rectifier selected. different tubes/ preamp or power, volume, or eq settings do nothing to help. My cabinet impedance is correct. I don't even have to play a note. Any suggestions on what the problem could be? I run EL34's, with the correct bias selected. Could that be the problem? Thanks for any help.

It might be a LDR (1 or more) on the way out, last summer only the red modern channel worked for me, all the other LDR's went south and had to be replaced.
I'm sure others will chime in as well, hope this helps

Old problem but I did solve it a long time ago. It wasn't the tremoverb. The cab I was using had a torn speaker cone. It actually had deteriorated around the edge between the cone and the flexible baffle part. New black shadow,problem solved.
