Traxis sound clip

Direct recordings sound so much like ass, that it makes me wanna wipe. Don't bother, and just get a mic. I just did this one with a MIC today.

Well, there's a lot of variables. Every piece of recording gear has it's own color to it. Plus in a 4x12 cab, each speaker sounds a little different, as well as one speaker will sound different in different places. It's all about putting the mic in the best spot, and working the mixer eq from there.

It's best just to get a mic, and go for it.

Sounds awesome. what power amp did you use? Do u have any direct recordings just to compare?? thanks!

No direct clips. They sound so flat and lifeless. Plus, they can't replicate the settings you have on your power amp. I use the 2:90.

Bummer, I was hoping to replace my Recto pre with the Traxis.

You can get a Tri without the phat mod.
