Hey, I tried a couple more. Different settings, one with GEQ ad one with GEQ off
I hear a bit of buzzy/scratchy... could that be the EV-12L too much for the mic? (Blue Yeti) I have the mic preamp all the way down this time. Ibanez S540 HSS with EMG 81. NOS Mesa STR 415/STR416. RCA, RFT, RFT, Tung Sol, GE.... No pick, no palm mute... just strumming

Haha somebody listened to them! thanks...

The GEQ does fill it out some more, but it was neat to find they sound very similar (GEQ vs. GEQ off). At least I tried to make them sound the same. I think the GEQ fills out the low end better. It does sound bigger, but almost more muffled, like a blanket in front of the cab, with GEQ. I wasn't sure if I could get the same "metal" tone without the EQ, but I think it was pretty good too
