Hey, brand new here.
I found a vintage Mark series amp at my local used guitar stuff store. It's a combo, with EQ, and it's either a Mark II or Mark III but I can't tell which. I'm going to go check it out again tomorrow, what should I look for?

Thanks

If it says "Pull - Rhythm 2" above the Middle knob, it's a III.
A Mark III will also have a foot switch jack, underside back of the chassis, for Rhythm 2. Next to the EQ foot switch jack.
Look where the A/C cable comes out of the back of the chassis. Often a Mark III will have a swipe of a Magic Marker there: Black, purple, red, blue, or green.
If it has a "+" (plus sign) over the A/C cable, buy immediately. Sell your children if necessary.

Yeah, first thing I looked for was the stripe or + over the power chord but I didn't see any. I'm thinking it may be an older II

I was right, it's a Mark IIB.
I think I'll pass on this one though. The condition wasn't all that great and it was going for $875.
