I wish I could take credit for this, but the idea came from a bud over on the Hamer Forum.
He has the idea that IMHO would be the perfect compliment for the RK and I agree.
Have a RK but make the power section as follows.
4XEL84 and 2X6V6
Make the EL84 section switchable between class A and class A/B. IMHO this would be the ultimate gigging amp for small clubs that don't require the RKs huge power.
Obviously the preamp would need some tweaking as well, but you would keep all of the other functions of the RK, like all of the loops and cab switching etc....
What do you guys think?
