I sold one of these a few months ago to fund a Stiletto Ace purchase (which is long gone), but now I'm back! Man, how I've missed the thick saturation of a Recto. I'm working on combining it with the DC-3 for leads still...

Look for a YouTube video later on. The PRS sounds AMAZING through the Recto. So glad I held onto her...

We knew you would be back......................They ALWAYS come back MWHAHAHAHA!!!!

Anyways post them vids!

I found some other videos 'in the archives' that I uploaded too...

Dude!

You've been changing amps more often than I change underwear. :D

Nice Video

That GT8, how many channels can it switch, how do you have it hooked up? Could it switch all of the roadster's functions (i.e. ch1-4, rev, solo, mute and loop?)

It can only control one function of the amp so I chose channel switching between two channels... It is hooked up via the 4CM.

Yeah I love that set up it doesnt need much tinkering to get it right. the only effects I run are EQ, Wah, Chorus and delay.

For fun try Channel 2, Modern (Bass 1:00, Mid 11:00, Treble 1:00, Pre 9:30, Gain 1:30) and tell me what you think.

Sweet! A DC and Recto together sounds insane! Welcome back! :)

You speak the truth! I've had alot of fun tweaking both amps and mixing tones. The Recto just kills for rhythms (as we all know) and the DC really excels at lead tones so they are a good match. I am trading the thiele cab for a 3/4 back cab this weekend though. I find the thiele to only sound good when it is cranked. It sounds boxy, focused, compressed, and thin at lower volumes. I don't get to crank the amps much so the 3/4 back seems like a better choice although it is a little larger. The good thing is that it is the same cab as the Rectoverb's combo cab with the same speaker and everything. This will allow me to get a much smoother tone from the DC-3 that should play a little nicer and sound more even when switching amps/cabs via the A/B box. I can also run the Rectoverb and 3/4 back together or use the 3/4 back and RoV cab with the DC-3. The thiele is a cool size, but the 3/4 back just has a more open and pleasing tone at all volumes IMO.
