forum is sooooooo.... boring...
as i count the days until i can order my dyne - i have nothing to do but check the forum to hear the glorious adventures of those already in the club!
and.... nothing....

Those of us who don't own a dyne are the only ones posting ololol!

I'll have to wait at least until next summer to get mine. I contemplated unloading my 2 channel dual but I can't part with it. I love it for what it does but I guess I just want to expand my arsenal. Oh well, I'm sure it will be next summer before I know it!

Thanks for all the well wishes. It seems I'm safely employed, at least until the end of the year. If the salesmen can sell something between now and then, things will continue as normal and we will ride this dull economy out. If they don't, well lets just say Christmas will be a bit different this year. I'm gonna pass on the 4X12 for now and just keep what I have. If any one of you are going through the same thing, My heart goes out to you. Today was just no fun at all. Now for those of you with a Dyne, or any other Mesa, crank em up. The weekend is upon us. Peace.

glad to hear it specialed! tear that dyne up this weekend! for the sake of those who don't have one yet!

Haha, ya. Get right on that. I was ripping through my Dual today but I was running it through an Ashdown 210 with my fender P-Bass. It isn't the greatest bass amp ever but it is definitely better than a cheap practice amp. It will have to do until I get my Markbass head!

I hear that there are some less than flattering pics from that night that are supposed to be on their way to me. I will post them, after I see them and decide they are not too bad.

Funny stuff specialed. It's good to hear a real ED bar jam story. How did the other pictures look?

Ok. Not losing my job. Instead, I'm getting a promotion and tramsfering to a more secure position. Found this out yesterday, and low and behold, this little Mesa 2X12 pops up on craigslist for $150.00 that matches the one I already have. Bam, that might be the fastest sell in craigslist history. I had it at my house in less than 20 minutes of it hitting the "list". It is truely Ear-gasmic to hear the ED through 2 of these. I actually had to dial my bass up a little believe it or not. These cabs sound awesome, but with the low end of the ED it is a bit hard to get that bass just right. Once you hit that spot you just want to "****" everytime you change a mode. I feel like a lil kid with a new toy everytime I crank it up and don't have to turn a single knob. Long live the "Dyne" and thank GOD for 3 day weekends. Here's a pic of my new cab. It's the one on the bottom. Rock on my fellow Dyne-sters. By the way, those Pics are not that flattering and they're not that good either. It's too bad you can't suck your gut in while your passed out. I think I need to go to the gym more often. I will have to scan them, since they were taken with a throwaway camera.

ok, you went from losing your job, to getting a promotion and finding a matching mesa cab for $150... hmn, did you recently sign a contract with a dark stranger using your blood as ink?

LOL. That's quite perceptive on your part. Na, I have really been on an emotional roller coaster ride for the last 2 weeks and to be honest, I'm glad to get off the ride. I feel confident in my new role and it looks like I will be able to continue living in the manner to which I have become accustomed. I am very fortunate. They're are others out there, that aren't as lucky. I can't take it with me so I might as well live it up while I still can. I wish I could convince my wife of that.

Heh, my girl had trouble understanding how I couldn't possibly say no to an Electradyne and a four twelve cab for $1600. She just looked at me funny when I said it was like getting the cab for free. I still hear about it, but then again, I don't hear her at all once the master hits 9 o clock.
