TC Electronic G System with Mark amp?

Anyone here using a G System with their Mark series amp? How do you like it? What method are you using - the 4 cable method, or just in your FX loop? I just got a Mark III, and am considering FX for the loop. Considering all the footswitching for channels / EQ / reverb, I'm considering the system for this, but don't want to go that route if it robs the amp of too much of its character.

Can the GT-8 perform the amp switching the G-System can? I honestly don't know...

Yes, for a 2 channel amp it is perfect, but for a Roadster it is not as 'robust' in the channel switching department... I prefer two channel amps though...

doesnt rob any tone when set up right with 4cm. i have no regrets with that setup (except maybe i could have got a axe fx rig instead). sounds good!
