Cant demo any- will be buying blind.....help out a friendly Dynasaur...

Get a Dual Recto, a Cab, and an ABY switch, unless you dislike hauling crap with you.

I don't any one amp does EVERYTHING which is why it makes sense for a guitarist to own more than one. Well, either that or wait for this new 'Dyne influenced high gainer the Mesa rep alluded to in that phone convo posted in the other thread . . .

Love to get a recto, love to have the cash and carry...but, that isnt gonna work.....FOR THE MONEY...a great High Quality HIGH GAIN box will mesh with my board....or else I turn my board for an Axe FX....but I do not want to risk the Dyne....

I have a Riot and have used it so far on gigs through a Metro Plexi (100 watt head) a 2x12 oversize cab w/scumbacks, an original '65 Deluxe Reverb, a LSS, backlined some solid state Marshall, some Vox AC30 reissue and direct through a Vox amp sim on a Casino gig. I think it's a great solution for high gain in a pedal and I have yet to plug it into an amp and cringe. It saturates really nicely and gets thick while retaining zing. It doesn't really compare to great amp distortion though imo. It doesn't do "creamy". It's not "my" sound by any stretch but it's fun to play and has a lot of life to it. I would say that it's a bit of a generic tone, albeit a really great version of generic but that's just me. I'm sure others are crafting a strong signature sound with it while I type!
