So where do you all store your spare tubes? Most of the tubes I have purchased from ebay don't come with boxes. My growing collection will eventually become shards if I don't do something in the near future.

I was thinking about getting a plastic case with foam or something similar...

Individual boxes are available for sale...
Label the boxes, because as your collection grows it becomes more difficult to keep track of the buggers. I use that low-tack blue masking tape used by painters. It's removable so the box can be re-used. :D

If you go to tubedepot.com they sell cases and empty tube boxes for storage.

If you have a lot of tubes that are $$$ this is worth the price. The smaller case runs around $50.

i put soft foam inside each slot of one of my old fishing tackle storage cases. then put each tube in a slot. or even 2.

I have a big monstrous square of foam that I sink the tubes in (the 50+ I dont have in boxes) and keep them covered by a soft cloth to keep dust off. Just a piece of packing styrofoam from a random box I got.

It keeps also keeps the pins from corroding by being unexposed, and the foam isnt hard so it doesn't bend the pins or hurt the big ones.

(This pic is old, I have a couple of these tube "sheets" now as I keep buying lots of tubes)
