I am beginning to think that Mesa doesn't want me to experience the love that is the Mark V. I guess I shouldn't complain though, I have only been waiting 5 weeks and some certainly waited longer.

I just hate it when you are promised one thing (early to mid August) and then they begin to delay the arrival; who knows how long it could go on. :(

I have to wait until about Halloween for my amp. I haven't had an amp at all since March. Hang in there.

I, (like alot of others here) went thru this "waiting period" guys, and I know it's tough, but hang in there!

I think that you'll be pleased with the result :) !

I´ve been waiting almost two months now. Waiting is hard.

But, I´ve got my other Mesa amps to play with, so I guess I shouldn´t complain too much.

I've been months waiting 6 months for my bubinga/wicker head with no response at all about possible delivery time, either from my dealer or mesa.

There is a bubinga/wicker Mark V combo at Guitar Showcase in San Jose for ~$2,689. Still there as of yesterday, if you don't want to wait. Mesa gave it to them for the big guitar show in Marin a couple weeks ago. It looks pretty nice.

I ordered mine in early Feb and got it late June. I'm not complaining though, it rules.

thanks for the tip. very tempting. I have waited this long so I might as well just be patient and get what I wanted. Probably would order through Hollywood if I had to do it again. I think Mesa gives them some preferential delivery.

I think you might be right, I waited about a month when I ordered through Hollywood. Their customer support is top notch also.

I've only been waiting a week as of today. Customer service told me 6 to 8 weeks. Ok, I don't mind if it takes 8 weeks because that is what I was told to expect. After 8 weeks I start to get anxious.

If it's going to take 10 weeks they should say so. There is a factory and orders and the factory should be able to estimate how long the orders will take to manufacture.

My dealer just called me to inform me that my MK V head has finally arrived!!!

I´m on my way to pick it up now - can´t wait to fire it up:)

Well actually I'm waiting for the Express 5:25. I just still like to buzz around here because I wish I were getting a built in 5 band graphic EQ too. :( :( :(

If Mesa is taking their time for QA/QC then I am all for it. I would prefer to wait an extra month versus being teased with the amp, it breaking, and then being without it for a month. However, I had to sell my combo for this purchase, so I have been w/o an amp for 8 weeks. I purchased a 2x12 Rectifier cab that is very sad sitting here w/ no friend to play with. The acoustic is fun and refreshing at times, but one needs to crank on a daily basis in order to satisfy the balance...

Indeed. One does need to crank on a daily basis!

KInd of humorous twist to the story. I have yet to hear anything from boogie or my dealer on the status of my head so I call San Jose and they still have the bubinga combo. I call my dealer and tell him I have a lead on a bubinga amp can he get some sort of update on my head. I told him I don't mind waiting a little longer but really don't want to wait untill Christmas. I get no follow-up from him so I buy the combo in San Jose this morning- to be shipped Tuesday. I then go over to my local dealer to cancel my order and get my deposit back and he tells me he has still not heard back from his boogie rep but informs me that he received notice that he has 5 pieces in transit from boogie, to be delivered Tuesday. He has no idea what is in the order as boogie doesn't tell them. Now I start to worry that I may go from have no MK 5 to having a bubinga head and matching combo. I call San Jose and they thankfully are nice enough to hold the combo until I see if my head comes in. If my head arrives they will cancel my purchase.
