I'm watching the BBC - Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's 2008 DVD. killer, hi quality and just amazing stuff man. that guy is a genius.

anyways, looks like he had a couple of Marshall heads (as usual I suppose for him).

Can you guys cop his tones using a Stiletto II? Obviously it's his hands/technique that REALLY matters here (lack of pick and amazing dynamics with tremolo, etc.)

But has anybody tried? He doesn't use much gain really... What about his effects? doesn't really seem to use much effects either...
 
Yeah, you can definately get some vintage marshall-ish type tones from the stilettos - with ease. More so on the Stage I's. I suppose you can TRY to sound like JB. :lol: Im convinced hes from another planet.

He often talks about liking old Fenders yet is often seen on stage with Marshalls.
