So I finally got all of my stuff into a permanent rehearsal spot last night (yeah!) and I got to A/B my 800 vs my Deuce with the same cab, guitar etc and I've gotta say the Deuce is pretty much spot on in terms of tone in crunch mode on channel 2.
I'll have to make some sound clips when I get some mics down there.
I forgot how f@#$@@ good that 800 sounds! The clean on the Deuce is way better though and of course there is the tight gain and fluid drive. And an fx loop. And switchable power modes. And tube rectifiers...
