Can this be done? I've recently purchased an American Strat and have been trying to dial in a nice bluesy SRV type tone through my SR Solo 50 Vs.2. I don't want to go out and get Fender amp & TS-808 or a Lonestar just yet, but maybe in the future. I can get a pretty nice tone, but was curious to know what settings you guys have it at.

I've got more experience w/ my ESP-602 and ZW-LP loaded w/ EMG's! I plug it in and switch to Modern and let 'em rip! The Strat has more Tonal variety and seems to either break up too much or not enough.

Funny, but I think I get a nicer blues sound from my Roland Micro-Cube, but that's because it models some amps!

Try swapping out the 6L6s for EL34s. You might like the change, they didn't seem to clip as early and the high end seems more crisp than fizzy (IMHO).
