I have a 2x12 LSC combo and am thinking of and ext cab. I'd go with the Mesa one to keep it looking good, even though there may be other cabs that are as good for less $.
My question is what is the difference between teh 1x12 adn 2x12 in terms of sound? They are basically the same size. Does the 1x12 have more base bacause of the greater open space within the cab? Or is it something slight and they both sound about the same, the 2x12 just moves more air?
I've not used one of their 1x12s before and there aren't any nearby at the guitar shops.
