Even if Mesa claimed they did use the LSC clean, I would be hesitant to believe it. They've made the same claim about the Road King amps and I think the MkV. Most testimony I've read from users who are really familiar with the Lone Star seems to agree that these amps don't fully manage the LSC clean. However, even if it's a straight lift of the Electra Dyne clean, that would be quite a good clean. The ED clean is sweet.

The RA is based off of the Electradyne, and is even more Brit voiced, and has more gain. It doesn't have any Lonestar attributes that I know of.
