I've recently acquired a single rectifier head (series 1) with the stereo footswitch jack on the front. I can't seem to get the solo boost to come alive with an aftermarket 2 button footswitch, while it will change the channel. I've skimmed over the wiring on the footswitch and it shorts the leads as it should (from what I can tell) so i'm just wanting to see if you all have any clues. Obviously it'd be ideal to have the original footswitch but that's what I get when I buy preowned. Thanks in advance!

I bought an after market footswitch when my used rectoverb didn't come with one. The solo wouldn't work on it either. I ended up buying a Mesa footswitch, which has never failed me. Go with Mesa.
