Single Rectifier modding fx loop to serial

Ive read a few posts about modding the fx loop (parallel) to serial ...

Has anyone got instructions on how to do this (schematics) , is it possible to add a switch so you could switch parallel/serial ..

Im fairly handy with a soldering iron ..

yes it is able, and not hard difficult, even with the switch mod. You will need the single recto schematics and a few minutes to develop a good idea about the mod

Usually if you just call boogie, they'll email you the specs. They sent me the dual recto specs before with no questions asked. :wink:

I have been considering the same mod. If you can find a push/pull pot that is the same value as the effects loop mix control, you can make it switchable without drilling any holes. I don't see any reason why it couldn't be switched. You should ask Mesa just to make sure.

I haven't made the mod yet because the rack gear I'm running right now seems to work fine with the loop as is.

Well ive just spoken to the distributor of Mesa here in the UK .... They have the schematics and are emailing them to me .. :-D

I'll let you know how i go on ...

this mod is totally avalaible, is easy to do and there is a typical mod that recto owners wants...
