YellowJacket - You spoke so highly of that amp all the time with all those rants in the Rec forum. Never looked like she was going anywheres. What happened? :?:

I made the 'mistake' of trying an Electra Dyne.

This amp continues to amaze me every time I power it up. I simply LOVE it.
The Dual Rectifier is fantastic for riffing and heavy music but I've had it for over 10 years and finances are tight right now. I need the right tool to gig with and the Electra Dyne will hopefully make me money while in school. I was playing the 'Dyne today and I was astounded at the number of blues / classic rock low gain tones that are available on tap. Like each time I dial in a tone, I sit there with a stupid grin on my face. It is simply so versatile.

If I had cash, I'd keep the Dual for SURE. Never know when you need epic crunch! As it stands, the Electra Dyne is my #1 choice and the Dual is a close second but my bank account can't sustain this many assets. I'm sure someone will REALLY want the thing and it will make them happy for years!

I can vouch that for Yellowjacket. Very easy to deal with and pretty much a straight-shooter like I am. Transaction went very smoothly.

Still diggin the Electradyne just as much or has the honeymoon subsided?

Electra Dyne is amazing, for entirely different reasons than the Dual is. Thinking of keeping both..

Cradlefish, thanks for the nod!

If you decide to keep the DR...I will see you in the rectifier forum...;)
