Series or Parallel on the extension cab's

Does anyone know how the Mesa 2x12 extension (Recto and Road King) cab's are wired? Series or parallel?

You can tell by looking at wiring.... or the ohm of the individual speakers & the cab.

Personally, I have no idea. But using a tool called Google :wink: I was able to find a few forums where people are stating they are 2x 16ohm speakers wired in parallel, giving you an 8ohm cab.

Thanks for all the reply's. My question is regarding the series/ parallel wiring-not ohms.

Thanks for your response Addictedtokaos but to let you know I have both the Recto cab and the Road King cab. The recto cab is rated at 8 ohms and the Road King is rated at 4 ohms- I know that but thank you for your help.

If you know the ohms of the cab & individual speakers ... it is easy to figure out if the cab is wired series/ parallel.
