I get a kick out of Steel Panther. The guitar player seems to alternate a lot between Marshall, Peavey 5150, and Dual/Triple Rectifier heads. Does anyone know anything about his rig? I like his sound.

A few years ago before they became Steel Panther he was using the Peavey Triple XXX head alot with a Marhsall 1960 cab. From there he sometimes switched to a 5150 or 6505 head depending on what his mood was.

After becoming Steel Panther, he used JCM800's and JCM2000's both on the record and live until very recently, when he started using Dual Rectifiers.

Guitars have been BC Rich in the old days but now uses mostly Kramers, new and old.

Dont know much about his effects.

I have been looking over videos for the last three months, and it seems he goes between the 5150, the rect and the marshalls, I wonder if he is getting his back line supplied by vender and just takes whatever he can get.

That's probably exactly what is going on. The only amp I know for sure was his that he would haul around back in the day was the Triple XXX.
