Picked up a Son of Original Boogie amp about a month ago, and its developed a feedback squeal issue.
I read about the limit knob being pretty useless, but the feedback only subsides when the limit is set above six or so. Doesn’t scream when a guitar isn’t plugged in, so it shouldn’t be a preamp tube, right?
I don’t have these problems with my JCMs, so I’m at a loss as to what to try. Any help is greatly appreciated. I’ve heard these amps are pretty great cranked up, but I can’t get there with this problem.
