Just got it back from Mike B - love it - everything is better sounds and functions - the master on the back is killer - even the pop sound when switching modes is less - the only caution I would put out there - is the cost - maintenance alone without adding tubes is going to run close to $500 and then the mod is a separate check to Mike B for $500 - so buying used be careful- it gets expensive fast. With all that said it was money well spent for me I love the amp - very happy

Agree!! My loop modded IIB is a gem. It’s the 60 watt but does have the rp9c board (that matters apparently…I have nothing to compare it to). I found that I prefer the master vol around 5 vs the recommended 7ish. I also added the recommended jumper between reverb leads. The distortion is gritty and spongy to my ears. Different than my other marks. It has growl to it that hangs just underneath that I find unique. The clean imo is the best I’ve experienced in the out of the classic mark line. Agree that it does cost to get it up to speed, but the initial purchase price is still within reason for a great amp imo. Congratulations on your amp!

I have considered grabbing a 100watt version. Anyone have thoughts between to two?

Thanks!!

Thanks - mine is 60 watt rp9c too / what is the jumper for reverb? Is it to make the reverb into another gain stage? Thanks
