Say I want to take my Recto and Stiletto amps and run them simultaneously for what could be envisioned as a monster sound. I would probably need a master switching device to to switch between clean and dirty channels on both amps. Does anyone know exactly what I would use for this purpose? I'm usually a pretty meat and potatoes player, so I don't mess with the gadgets very much. Just an idea I've been toying with.

So you want to be able to switch channels on both amps while running them both at the same time?

Other than a Bradshaw Switching System, you could keep the individual footswitches and run something like a ABY pedal.

Switching between clean and dirty using two seperate pedals would be out of the question.

Your only option is MIDI really. I dont know anything about MIDI.. cause when I ran 2 amps simultaneously I managed to do it in such a way that one amp was continuously on dirty. I play a lot of Stoner rock, so having a bit of fuzz in my clean tone is more than acceptable, its suggested

I run two amps Mesa Mark III and Bugera XXL with the Radial Big Shot ABY I can run them independent of each other or both at once..each amp still operates independent channel switching with no problem..also I can just use one amp and set up two guitars through the ABY and switch at any given time..so If I'm playin in E flat and want to switch guitars for 'D' tuning it's great..

Hope this helps

When I had my Mark IV, lots of guys here recommended this device to control it via midi.

Hope this helps.

I run my heads at the same time at concerts. I run my guitar into my maxon OD808, wah, dd-6 and my chorus ensemble, that has stereo outs, split the signal there, and run the stereo signals to both heads. Then i just set the Krank pedal below the Recto pedal and do the switching simultaneously. It makes for a fun night haha. But it works pretty well for now..until i can afford a master switching system. My other guitarists has the boss pedalboard and it has stereo outputs on it, so he just splits the signal after his pedals and runs his TriAmp and Uberschall in unison that way. Works good as well.

i run a tremoverb head w/4x12 & a soldano ROS 2x12 combo through a tc stereo chorus pedal & run both through a boss dd-6 stereo delay in loop (just an fyi). as far as the switching channels at the same time for both amps i use the radial bigshot sw2 slingshot. works for me. i can go clean & dirty (channels 1 & 2) to both amps at the same time. one pedal for both amps. hope this helps.

It's pricey, but this is what I use.....

Allows me to run multiple amps at once and even switch my G Force Effects or any effects in and out of the all the amps (in front and in/out of the loop) without having to re-run cables

Im not sure if its like this for the amps you are running, but in the Mark V manual it says that the FX loop reverses the amps phase. So make sure if you are using both fx loops you keep the amps far apart so you dont get cancellation.~
