So I have a 2007 roadster, and I've been running a carbon copy delay in the loops with two 20ft cables going to my pedal board. I was thinking I could have shorter cable runs and just keep the carbon copy near my amp and just switch it in and out with my loop button on my roadster's footswitch. For some reason, my loop is always activated even when the foot button is in off position. The "loop" led infront of my amp is always on. All the channel strip switches on the back are loop engaged. Has anybody heard of this problem before or how to fix it?

Also, I noticed my tuner out of my amp doesn't seems to work all the time. I wonder if this is related to my roadster problem.

I think your problem is pretty simple.

I'm not by my amp right now, so I might be completely wrong, but when the small toggles on the back per channel are switched to "Loop On", the amp automatically switches in the loop when you switch to that channel. Makes it so you don't have to press a bunch of buttons if you only want it on certain channels.

Switch the channel switches to FX loop out, and then you can switch it in and out manually with the footswitch (all assuming your loop is switched in with the main switch for the loop).

ibanez4life has it right. With fx loop on on the back panel, the loop is always activated for that specific channel. Turn them to off and you'll be able to switch it on and off with the fx loop.

Thanks a lot. I'll give it a shot next time I'm with my amp. Unfortuneatly, its at my friends house where we jam.
