I liked the second video best. Good stuffz man. Northeast metal for the win.

Thanks guys. I use a Maxon OD808 to boost the Roadster. The Ibanez was my RGA321F with dual EMG 85's

that sounds awesome man. I like the tone, both clean and dirty....it's always nice to see what other metal/hardcore bands are doing around the States. The band I joined a few months ago is going into the studio to record a new EP August 1st, to replace the stuff that's on our myspace that is all old members (Me, the other guitarist and the vocalist are all new). I'll send ya a link when we get our stuff posted, see what you think of a little southern hardcore from NC. Rock on bro.

Definitely send it my way!

Yo!

Clip sounds killer! Really liked your band too.
Would you mind posting your modern channel settings? I play "similar" music and also sport a roadster head with a 4x12 cab. I use the Zakk Wylde overdrive.

Here's a live clip where I use my Roadster. I'm the guy on the left (or the fat guitarplayer if you wanna be a dick about it), but the sound is crap, so you probably won't make much out of it.

hey i'm at work but i'll check out the vid later!

my settings are channel 4, recto tracking, 100watts, hard bypass on the loop.

modern, presence 6, mids 4 1/2, bass 6, treble 6, gain 6, volume 4-5

then i have the overdrive with the output all of the way up, and the gain almost all of the way down.

Thanks for the reply!
Since Mesa amps doesn't have numbers around the knobs it's kinda hard to know exactly what you mean.
Does this look about right?

those are the settings! depending on what guitar you're using and what pickups it'll sounds different, but i've found that's a good tweaking point. i probably wouldn't use those setting without the overdrive, but with the overdrive it's punchy, tight, and cuts through the mix really well.
