Hi friends!
Here are some samples of myself playing RK I & RK II

Some of you may have already seen a couple of those, but I added some live on stage with Vodu, my band www.voduband.com

I used in all the videos only the amplifier gain.
In all videos but the last, I hooked up the RK to a Boss GT-8 via 4-cable connection.

Vodu - Hallowed be thy Name (by Iron Maiden) - Solo - RK II

Vodu - Hallowed be thy Name (by Iron Maiden) - Begining - RK II

Vodu - Seeds of Destruction (by Vodu - solo piece) 2007 - RK II

Vodu - Aces High (by Iron Maiden) - Video Clip - RK II

Fire (song I wrote) - RK I

Quick Test - RK I

I hope those samples help. I am open to talk about any question you may have.

Thank you guys!

so what do you think between the two, do the distortion channels sound the same? Which do you like better?

I like the RK II better.

Ch3 and Ch4 are similar on both RK I and RK II. Ch4 is a little darker on RK II though.

Ch1 and Ch2 sound way better and louder on the RK II.

Hi Bruceta,

Is the Road King better than the Stiletto?

sir

PS: your song "Final Conflict" rocks! :D

Hi sir!
Thank you for the compliment!

I prefer the Road King over the Stiletto. I think it is more versatile and has a much more beautiful overdriven sound. It weights a ton though...

RK's sound awesome. Nice playing too!

Lonestar vs RKII cleans. Are they really that different?

Thank you very much, MetalMatt!

Ls and RK II cleans are very comparable. I don't feel they are exactly the same, however for a high gain amp those RK II cleans are unbeatable.

I'll be brutally honest...I sold my RK II Combo to buy a LSC Head & Cab...and have to say that the LSC cleans on the RK II sound better to me than the actual LSC itself..........

I am truly missing the versatility of the RK II -- especially Chan 1 Tweed Mode.
I should have bought the RK II Head/Cab vs the combo

On the RK II I never had the "too much bass" issue as I am dealing with on the LSC...

Yes, I am convinced that the RK II cleans are actually better than the LSC it emulates

nice video, you've got a really good tone, thanks for sharing also your opinion about the two versions!
