RK II is due tomorrow after 4 months !!!

Awesome. I'm still contemplating selling my Dual Rec and my 5150II and getting either a Roadster or RKII. No one around here has had one in stock for me to try out.

The new Mesa 12AX7's are Ruby 7025 Silver Specials and they rip !!!
The RK has them in all 6 sockets.

They also designed a larger PT. # 561142.

How can I tell if my RKII has the Ruby 7025s? Does it say it right on the tube?

Mine say 12AX7-A Russian 2 and then the Mesa logo.

I have an account with Ruby. Unlike the Russian II's, Mesa is now shipping with the Chinese. The 12AX7C9 has gray plates and the new reissue Ruby 7025 Silver Special has silver plates. They are amazing and seem to be of much better quality than the SS's that we had in the 80's.
The gain is insane.
