It was so weird! On Monday afternoon I was going over some tunes for rehearsal that night. We had decided to bring Angel Eyes back to the list. I spent a good 40 minutes remembering it and tweaking the solo (I always enjoyed playing that one). When my girlfreind got home just as I was playing it the last time she walked in and asked if I knew that he had just died. Needless to say I was speechless as I had no idea.

Cancer is an equal opportunity killer. It doesn't care if you are young or old, rich or poor, angelic or evil. I'm just glad that Jeff got his WELL deserved recognition while he was able to enjoy it. I will now listen to his remake of "Blue Jean Blues", my favorite song on the "See the Light" CD. :D His tracks on the "Roadhouse" soundtrack kick some major ***.

Amazed me the first time I saw him and still amazes every time I see him play. Here is an awesome vid of him playing see the light.
