Reverb Pedal

I'm playing a Strat with Antiquity IIs in the neck and middle with a Texas Hot in the bridge through a Mesa Boogie MK III red stripe. I love the tone but the reverb tank was missing when I bought in. I wanted to get some input on what would be the best reverb pedal to buy. I play blues and classic rock and believe simpler is better when it comes to gear. I've taken a long hiatus from playing regularly and have been out of the loop gear wise. What should I look at in terms of a simple, pure sounding, reverb unit?

The Line6 Verbzilla sounds good too.

I personally like the Holy Grail..The line6 is a lil noisy and not the best sounding...Ive tried a ton of them, from Boss to whatever, and so far the holy grail seems to be better choice, for me at least. The only downside is you can only use it with the adapter, no batteries. But it gets a good spring verb as well as hall.

Ive used it in my Boogies, marshall, Fender Twin (same verb problem, was disconnected) & even Diezel amp and it sounds consistent in all of them.

Try it out, see what ya think.

Either that or the Lanalei... Songworks reverb runs about 199, Grail is around 100. Lanalei's a lil large cuz its an actual Accutronics spring w/ a driver section but it does run off batteries & adapter. Not sure of battery life tho.

The Holy Grail never did much for me (a preference thing I guess)
though I don't mind the Boss RV-5
but if I was buying one today I would consider
the Hardwire RV-7
