Hi again

I've just broken 2 jack sockets, one on the back of my Mark V Combo and one on my Wideboy.
Someone picked up my Combo to move it with the cab still plugged in (aarrggh!!)
Is it just a normal 6.3mm Mono Jack Chassis Socket that I need to replace them?

Also still getting the occasional squealing on my EQ sliders?
It's always on channel 3, Mark IV, and bright with EQ on.
I've changed pre amp tubes 6 and 7 but it still comes back.
Any suggestions?

PS What's Bottle Rocket on my profile?

Too much brightness or treble makes the tubes squeal.
It's the mids that cut through the mix, not the highs.
They get swallowed by the cymbals.

It should be a normal size jack, Jack.

Bottle Rocket just means you're a relatively new member.
Mine says Dual Recto but I've never owned one.

Ahh, I wish my member was still new.

The 6.3 mm (quarter inch) jacks are commonly available.
However, to replace the jack on the combo requires opening the chassis.

*** LETHAL VOLTAGES LIVE INSIDE THE CHASSIS, EVEN IF THE AMP IS NOT PLUGGED IN. "LETHAL" MEANS YOU CAN DIE.***

Take the amp to a repair person. Please.
