exactly how noticable is the delay between switching channels on the rectobverb? is there any mods to get rid of it?

there is a used rectoverb head for 900 at GC that im eyeing but kinda concerned about that delay since i like to switch between clean and dirty in songs

Just go there and try it out yourself. Some people don't seem to be bothered with it, but it bothered me so much that I had to bring the amp back.

the delay is only noticeable when you switch while pounding out a chord, and it will also sound nasty if you switch while pounding out a chord and have some reverb dialed in.

its not a problem for me, i switch channels while my volume is decaying and its all good

there is definitely a delay but you get used to it. It's more noticeable when you are playing without a band. In a band setting you don't notice it. Of course usually you change channels when the song is changing anyway. It almost seems like the delay becomes a little shorter after the amp warms up. I might be wrong about that but that's how it seems... :?
