Using a Recto head, what would I expect in tone difference between:

1. 2x12 closed back with celestion G12k-100's

and

2. 2x12 3/4 back with celestion G12k-100's

The G12k-100's are a balance between G12T-75 and V30's. The reason why I ask is because I am building a speaker cab with those speakers, and wonder which configuration complements a recto better.

The recto might be a Dual or a Rect-O-Verb.

the 3/4 back with those speakers might be a little muddy without another 2x12 closed back.... i would go with a closed back cab with those speakers (which BTW sound awesome) as it will help keep some clarity and tightness..... although i thought the g12k100s were more of a higher power 80 watter?

100Watts

Thanks BTW ... might make it into a closed back 2x12 with isolated chambers...
