Hi, my name is Diego. Sorry my bad English I'm from argentina.

Recently bought a second hand Recto Recording pre.

The problem I have is that in "Vintage" and "modern" have not much gain.
even if set all the way up.

Is more a crunchy sound. Later i try to upload a demo.

both live and an recording ouputs.

Thanks

What are you pluggin it into? It could be bad preamp tubes in the Recto pre, or it might be whatever poweramp your using. Does it sound like that with another guitar?

Somebody knows, what is the function of each tube in the Rectifier Recording Preamp?
and are all the same value?

V1
V2
V3
V4
V5
V6

thanks

¿they are the same of the Dual triple Rectifier + Record (emulated) Out?

Thanks

Here you go:

V1-A&B = Channel 1 input & gain
V2-A = Channel 1 Gain
V2-B = Channel 2 Input
V3-A&B = Channel 2 Gain
V4-A&B =Channel 2 Gain & Tone Controls
V5-A&B =record Out Left & Right
V6-A&B = Main out Left & Right

Hey, I posted a diagram today showing the tube assignments so I think it might be appropriate to show it here.
