Recording Clicks

Hello again. I am trying to record my amp with a sm-57 and presonus firebox, and Ive recorded with it before, it sounded fine, but when i try to record ever since i reinstalled windows/all my recording software (sonar 5 and such) it has this constant clicking noise in the background. Anyone had this problem/solution? Thanks.

edit: works fine in windows sound recorder, makes strange noises in sonar 5 recording only.

it might be that your software hasnt been registered?? i used to have a program to record, and the trial version would put clicks every 3 seconds or so. forces you to buy the program, or get another one. you could try audacity for a good free recording program
