I sold the 20/20 I was using with Triaxis and am amazed at the tone change with adding the 2:90. Sounds huge!!

Yeah I like my G-Force. the delays are great and so are the reverbs. Also much easier to use than the G-Major and sounds better IMO. My chorus effect is sick. I run a advanced chorus, Dual Detune and a slight pitch shifter all in parallel to get my fanboy metallica live chorus tone.

The wireless is and X2.

Is your lead 1 LED white? I changed mine Lead 1 red to a super super bright white... it's so rad hahaha

Oh and as for the g-force vs g-major, on the tc help page they say that the effects are identitcal other than that you can rearrange them on the g-force. The down side to the force is that the presets take a second to change audibly... I'm assuming due to the rearranging.

Yeah but what makes a good tone is really a combo of FX in parallel IMO. Hence why the G-Force kicks ***. plus every one says the G-Force tru bypass is really ture bypass and no tone loss. There are more versions of FX and tons of prameters on each effect to alter. Took me days to get my fan boy tone:

All that is right, but I just added the GCX so I can phantom power my GC Pro and also hook my Diezel and Roland JC-120 to it :)

Sean, you have a beautiful rig there. I'm using an old "blackface" Intellifex in mine and I've been thinking about picking up the G-Force. My only reservations are that it also is a slightly aged piece and for another $400 I could be thinking about the Eventide Eclipse. Honestly I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that my rig was set in a non-shockmount rack case, especially with the gear you have! The X2? I've heard nothing but great things about them and have the new XDS-Plus in my near term sights. Anyhow here's a link to a great case company. I purchased a two head-eight space from them with extra depth for a rack drawer, heavy duty locking casters and four side handles. They do excellent work!

Thanks man. Yeah the G-Force is Totally worth it. So easy to program. Like for my fanboy chorus as I said I run 3 FX in parallel and you can visually see them on the big screen. So many parameters and IMO...I had a G-Major and I feel the G-Force FX are better.

Short vid of the new Rack. The X2 is great, but eats 9 volts for breakfast :(

I want to do sound clips but my room suuuuuuuuucks for amp micing. I need an ISO box or something to make clips of it.

Yeah man, I checked out your vid, sound clips and pics. Like the pic with the JCM 800 on the right and the 5150 on the left..a tone for everyone. Also like those custom inlays on the ESP. You must be a huge EMG fan. I dropped a Bare Knuckles Miracle Man in my 1993 Washburn N4 bridge and it just absolutely kills! Your sound clips sound very good. (dug What Comes around..). I use a Line 6 POD XT Live for recording and it sounds fantastic IMO. Sure beats lugging the live rig around to record! I posted a few pics of my rig on my myspace pages. Here you can check out that shockmount case that I was referring to earlier.

Okay Man, Take it easy!

How do you like the X2? I just got mine a couple days ago and I think its better than any other one I've heard. Nice rig also!

I love the X2 BUT she eats 9 volts for break fast. So I am trying the two recharables for now while we jam but a friend from the ESP board recommend to buy Duracell ProCell 9 volts as they last like 2-3 hours straight.

Also he said there is some way to turn the rack version into just using the 2 antennas(it supposedly uses 4, like one internal one I thinK? I dunno) but he said some where you can change settings to just use 1 set and it cuts down on eating batteries but you lose performance?? I dunno I have not tried. i ordered the Procells, you can only get them on line he said so I ordered like 72 for $100 each (the more you buy the less they cost)

Ya know thats funny you say that because I thought the battery they give you with the system was a weak one but not the case. I've only had this thing less than a week and I'm on my 3rd battery and its 3/4's down, I'm thinking while I'm just practicing I'm going to use the cord. Get back to me and let me know how the rechargible ones work, I'll need to go that route if they hold up good. Or I can take a 2nd job to afford my battery habit.

yeah the rechargables are OK but not reliable. like it will show full power for like a half hour and then boom.....down to red.

Get the Duracell ProCells. Also I think taking it out of the pack when not playing helps a lot with power. IMO

**** I dont remember I just goggled it and one of the first sites had prices based on how many you buy. The more the less they charge

That sounds good, thsnks for the info, I checked out the rest of your rig, NICE! I really dig the Hetfield Explorer.

Hey thanks man! Yeah I am an Explorer fanatic.LOL I have 2 custom ones coming and 2 others besides the middle finger inlay one :) Yes fanboy I am

I will ask again.
I was told a 2:90 is too much unless your playing arena's?
For clubs/home it is impossible to crank it enough to get the tubes going.
Everyone I talked to recommends a 20/20.

Sorry man.

I had the 20/20 and with the Triaxis it was so hard to get a good bottom end. Also when I went to the studio and cranked it it totally broke up my clean tones. The 2:90 has a 1/2 power switch which I find very usefull.

I play at home and yes I have a house so I can play loud which I usually do (hence the tinitis) but she does sound solid at lower volumes. Sometimes I have to when the fiance bugs me :)
