2:90 and triaxis both first version

hello Boogie Lovers I have a question about a hum 2:90 switched on instrument When I switched on line it doesnt hum,but then the amp sounds thin.Does anyone knows what I can do!Both amps triaxis pre amp had a recap,so ths is my question .Greetings from the netherlands.
