Quick Video of my Mark IV slaving a Marshall 100/100 EL34 Power amp. I am running 6 4x12s in the video. The tone was huge and really smooth, however, the playing is pure rubbish with mistakes everywhere.

hey pdave, you tried the Marshall JVM yet? any thoughts? some good reviews/comments on the marshall amps forum... i bet the construction still sucks like the tsl100.

I played the combo of it...

its alright. I still much prefer an Plexi or an 800.. hell I'd take a 900 over it..

It is an improvement over the DSL/TSL though, as it can nail classic plexi/800 tones a bit better. However: I find that the extreme gain settings are really.. well, lame.

Your head slaved in a stereo power amp? how did you do? There's only one slave out on the mark IV...right? and 2 input in the power amp...sound great though.

Your head slaved in a stereo power amp? how did you do? There's only one slave out on the mark IV...right? and 2 input in the power amp...sound great though.

I used a "Y" cord out of the Mark IV into the Marshall. I was going to try using a 3 way cord to power up the Mark III as well, but I have the level set very high on the IV.

To answer a few other questions, the guitar's action is a little high. I think it sounds better higher...more "pop" :wink:

I have tried the JVM and I didnt like it.

Gotta love those MK IV's!!! When I pick up the guitar, I have to make a quick choice of which to plug in to, the MKIV or the RK's. My moods usually direct me to plug in to the MK IV. Gotta keep dusting off the RK's once in a while.
