Quick question about MkIV A / MkIV B

Are all MkIV:s with a full "Mesa/Boogie" logo on the grill version A, and ones that have just "Boogie" version B? This is kind of what I've gathered. This would be a handy way of instantly distinguishing between version A from version B.

No, the logo does not have any significance in determining A or B.

Almost all short heads have the Boogie logo and most long (medium) heads have the Mesa/Boogie logo. But this is not always the case. Some shorties have a smaller different Mesa/Boogie logo and some long heads just have a Boogie logo.

My first one was Long head Ver. A had the M/B logo

My second was a Shorty rackmounted Ver B. with the M/B logo

My current Short Head Ver. B with Boogie Logo
